Welcome to the Lewis County Tennis Association

The Lewis County Tennis Association (LCTA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for people of all ages to experience the lifelong benefits of tennis. Through youth development, community partnerships, tournaments, and facility development, we are working to make tennis more accessible throughout Lewis County.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to play. Whether you’re a beginner learning the fundamentals, a high school athlete striving to compete, or an adult looking to stay active, LCTA is committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming tennis community where players of every age, background, and ability can thrive.

As we work toward building Lewis County’s first multi-court indoor tennis facility, we’re investing in more than a place to play—we’re creating opportunities for healthier lifestyles, stronger communities, and future generations of athletes. Together, we’re building a lasting legacy that will benefit Lewis County for decades to come.

Tennis Facility Project

Building Lewis County’s Future Indoor Tennis Facility

The Lewis County Tennis Association is leading the development of a new indoor tennis facility that will provide year-round access to tennis and youth athletics for our community.

After years of planning, fundraising, and community collaboration, the project has entered the permitting phase and continues to move closer to construction. The facility will be an air-supported dome structure located on Bishop Road in Chehalis, across from Orin C. Smith and James W. Lintott Elementary Schools.

In Western Washington, months of rain and wet conditions limit opportunities for athletes to practice, compete, and stay active. The new facility will provide a safe, weather-protected environment that allows tennis programs to operate year-round, supports youth development, and expands recreational opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.

The facility will feature multiple indoor tennis courts and a flex space that can also support junior high wrestling practice through a partnership with the Chehalis School District. No school district funds are being used for the project. The facility is funded through private donations, grants, and community support.

Jupiter Tennis Facility in Edgewood, WA is an example of what our facility would look like.
